Liverpool tell Roma, Sevilla they can have Shaqiri - but must wait

Liverpool are prepared to sell Xherdan Shaqiri - at the end of this season.

Both Sevilla and Roma have made approaches to sign the Swiss international on loan in January, offers Liverpool have swiftly rejected as they continue to challenge for the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.

But the Mirror says Liverpool will allow Shaqiri to leave the club on a permanent transfer in the summer.

It is claimed clubs have been informed that the former Stoke man will be available for around £25million in the summer.

That would ensure Liverpool receive a handsome profit, given they paid just £13m for him two years ago.
