Liverpool are closing on a deal for Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho.

The Mirror says the Reds are preparing to meet Camacho's £10m buy-out clause as they look to capitalise and bring him to Anfield this summer.

Jurgen Klopp is hoping to bolster his midfield ranks in the summer as he looks set to offload a host of players, including Joe Allen and Jordon Ibe, so Camacho could prove to be an ideal addition to the squad.

Camacho is understood to keen on Liverpool after reports in February claimed he jetted to England and toured the club's training ground.
