Rhian Brewster will keep working hard to impress Jurgen Klopp after his brace rescued Liverpool in their 2-2 draw with RB Salzburg on Tuesday.
Patson Daka scored twice in the first 13 minutes to put Liverpool behind, only for Brewster to reply with his own brace in the second-half.
The 20-year-old striker has returned to Anfield after a success loan spell with Swansea.
And he is hoping to ensure Klopp will keep him at Anfield for the 2020/21 season.
"It's good to come on and score two but it's just [about] working hard and trying to impress," Brewster told the club's website.
"It was tough, don't get me wrong, but yeah, to come on and score two was very good. But for me, it's not about the goals at the moment, it's about working hard and running for the team and that's what I'm trying to do."
He added: "Of course you want to make the most of everything because you never know when it's going to be your last game and stuff like that.
"Every game that I get I'm going to work hard and try my best. Of course you've got to try to impress the manager, I'm trying to do that, I'm trying to work hard and of course the goals are a bonus."
