Liverpool step up bid for Swansea keeper Vorm

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is chasing Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm.

The Liverpool Echo says the Dutchman has emerged as one of Rodgers' top targets, as he looks to add competition and depth to his Reds squad.

Rodgers took Vorm to the Liberty Stadium when manager of Swansea in 2011, and has remained a big admirer despite moving to Anfield since.

Liverpool believe Vorm could be available for as little as £5m this summer, with Swansea reluctantly willing to cash in on one of their biggest earners.
