Liverpool star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says that he still prefers playing in central midfield.

He has played many different positions for Liverpool under manager Jurgen Klopp.

He sometimes plays in the middle, but is also used as a winger in a more attacking role.

The Ox says he does the most damage through the middle.

"I'm assuming you mean on the football pitch!" he told fans in an Instagram Live Q&A session on Wednesday.

"I'm going to have to say central midfield. It's a question I was asked for years and years but it's definitely centre-mid – number 8."
