Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita has impressed staff with his recent form in training.

The central midfielder has endured a tough season, and has not set the world alight since arriving at the club.

But Keita has reportedly stepped up his work behind closed doors, and may get a chance to show his quality when the Reds play their first Premier League games since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Athletic reports that coaches at the Anfield club are raving about the midfielder in the past few weeks.

Keita was very impressive in a 6-0 win over Blackburn in a closed doors friendly, where he scored as well. And he could start against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.
