Dejan Lovren says that the blow of Liverpool's 3-0 defeat to West Ham United has been softened by the other top teams dropping points.
Liverpool were disappointing at home on Saturday and the fans were certainly left bitterly disappointed by the Reds' performance.
Lovren endured a difficult outing during the game but the defender is keeping his spirits up by the fact that even rivals Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham dropped points in their respective matches.
The Croatian said: "The other clubs are also losing at home too and we wish we could have taken 10 points from the four games but we didn't so definitely I'm disappointed. You expect to win, especially at home after the last game against Arsenal.
"We knew it would be a tough game. We knew everyone would be behind the ball, especially in the last 10 but it is not a good enough reason to explain why we didn't play well. We need to keep our heads up in a tough moment."
