Liverpool favour selling goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher to a foreign club.
The Irishman is set to leave the Reds this summer as he seeks a No1 place after playing second fiddle to Alisson Becker.
The Liverpool Echo says Kelleher is one of few saleable assets with which the Reds would reluctantly depart in the summer, but having invested so much time in the player's development, they would most likely command upwards of £20million.
Ideally, they would not want to sell to a Premier League rival and instead negotiate a buy-back clause for Kelleher with a foreign club, but they would ultimately be led by the Irishman's desire.
For both player and club, the time for an amicable parting of the ways is approaching. Liverpool acknowledge Kelleher cannot be held back much longer.
