Liverpool are again being linked with Lyon striker Alexander Lacazette.

The Mirror says with pressure mounting, manager Brendan Rodgers could turn to the 23-year-old Frenchman next month as he searches for a striking spark.

French international Lacazette, who has netted 11 in his last 13 for Lyon, is rated at around £15million by the Ligue 1 side.

Finances for such a move are likely to be found by offloading Fabio Borini to Sunderland for around £14m.
