Liverpool prepared to sacrifice Jones amid Lavia pursuit

The future of Curtis Jones at Liverpool is in doubt.

The midfielder has just helped England win the U21 Euros in Georgia.

However, the Daily Express says Jones could be sacrificed by the Reds should they land Romeo Lavia from Southampton.

Liverpool have already signed midfield pair Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai from Brighton and RB Leipzig respectively.

But they're now in talks with Saints about a £50m deal for Lavia.

And if a deal can be struck, then it's suggested Jones will be sacrificed and sold to balance the books.
