Liverpool are sending Marko Grujic to Hertha Berlin for another season-long loan.
The Serbian international spent the past campaign at the Bundesliga side. Now he is set for a return for the 2019-2020 season.
Liverpool will collect a £2 million loan fee, which could rise by another £500,000.
Grujic played 23 times for the German side last term, with the 23-year-old hoping that he can perform even better in the coming season.
Goal indicates the Reds are not thinking of Grujic as someone they will sell in the future.
They want him to gain more experience, with the intention of bringing him back into the first team fold in the 2020-2021 season.
Jurgen Klopp feels the player will be at the right maturity and physical condition by then.
