Liverpool still believe Fabio Carvalho will be a star for the club in the near future.

The Reds are not giving up on the Portuguese youngster, who is failing to impress.

The Under-21 star was at RB Leipzig during the first half of the season, but only managed three starts.

Per Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have no intention of selling Carvalho in the winter or summer.

They believe that he needs a new loan where he can play games week in and week out.

Then a decision will be made about whether he is reintegrated into the first team next season.
