Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara admits he's desperate to play in front of Reds fans.

Thiago joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich last summer.

He told TV2: "There are many games we didn't deserve to lose, so it's been frustrating not to get the three points, even though we have been better than the opponent.

“But that's how football is and we look towards the next match, where we will try to perform as well as possible.

“It has been a strange situation since we need, and want, to have the fans at the stadium.

"At the same time, I have received a very warm welcome, but I do not notice it during the matches since the fans are not allowed to enter. It's a shame, but we look forward to getting them back."
