Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was delighted with his return to England's starting line-up in the 7-0 win over Montenegro.
The Liverpool midfielder also added his first goal for the Three Lions since 2017.
He said: "It was nice to be back in the starting line up. It has been a while and I just wanted to do what the manager and the coaches and been talking about this week.
"I have been in good form with the goals recently so when the chance came I felt confident with the shot. It is nice to see it go in and obviously special.
"This England team is young and exciting and full of ability but they are a good group of players who want to work hard."
