Liverpool and Manchester City could be expelled from the Champions League next season.
The Daily Star says they risk being expelled from the Champions League if the Premier League campaign is cancelled.
Match action across Europe is postponed until April 30 at the earliest until the situation improves.
The aim is still to finish all domestic leagues and European competitions, even if it means playing into the summer months.
The Belgian League management board has already taken decisive action, though.
It is recommending that efforts to continue the season are scrapped and Club Brugge are awarded the title.
Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin, chairman of the European Club Association Andrea Agnelli, and Lars-Christer Olsson, president of European Leagues, suggested earlier this week that clubs will only be allowed to compete in the Champions League if they complete their respective domestic seasons.
