Harry Wilson has praised Derby boss Frank Lampard from helping him improve this season.

The 21-year-old is on a season-long loan from Liverpool and has made 12 appearances across all competitions.

"He's been great," said Wilson. "I spoke to him on the phone before I went there, and the way he spoke and what he told me about how he wanted his team to play made me realise it was the right club for me.

"Since I've been there I've learned a lot and his coaches help me too. The way we've played in the last month or so has shown how we've progressed as a team."
