Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler is convinced they can beat Chelsea tonight.
Fowler is confident Fabio Borini and Rickie Lambert's weekend goals will have lifted them ahead of tonight's League Cup semi with Chelsea.
"Strikers feed on confidence and if you've got a little goal you obviously go into the next game feeling so much more confident," he told the Liverpool Echo.
"Fingers crossed it's the start of something special and a good run for both players.
"Let's not put too much pressure on the strikers anyway in terms of goalscoring. I think goals should be distributed evenly throughout the side.
"I'm speaking like a forward aren't I but probably there should be a bit more pressure on midfielders to score goals. We want everyone to play well, we want the forwards to score goals, we want the defenders and midfielders to weigh in with a few more goals as well."
