Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has declared Chelsea ace Eden Hazard his Player of the Season.

Hazard has been backed by Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho for the PFA Player of the year, but Carragher has also added his name to the growing list of supporters for the Belgium star.

"I'd go for (Eden) Hazard," Carragher said on TalkSPORT. "I think he's the best player in the league.

"But while I think he's been brilliant this season, I don't think there's been anyone like Luis Suarez was last season, where it was obvious to everyone. There's a debate this year.

"Hazard is Chelsea's best player, and it looks like they're going to go and win the league. I'd go for him."
