Manchester United are planning a new offer for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

Gazzetta dello Sport says United are ready to reignite their interest in Koulibaly.

The move is being made given the potential of Liverpool stealing in and signing the defender from under their noses.

In theory, the Senegal star has an asking price of £89m - but the likelihood of any club getting close to that in this market is slim to none.

It's expected Napoli would likely sell for £50m plus add-ons - which would be well within United's reach.
