Liverpool are in talks with Southampton for Romeo Lavia.

While a deal for RB Leipzig midfielder Dominik Szobszlai is set to be announced, Liverpool are also discussing Lavia.

The Athletic says Liverpool are in talks with Saints for Lavia and regarded as favourites for his signature.

Lavia will leave Southampton this summer after their relegation.

Liverpool's move for the Belgian won't be affected by Szoboszlai's arrival.
