Liverpool new boy Cody Gakpo will become the 11th player to wear the number 18 shirt for the club.

Gakpo, a Netherlands forward, has secured his dream Premier League move in a £45 million transfer from PSV Eindhoven.

Gakpo was linked to Manchester United last summer, but the Red Devils did not have the financial means to do a deal this winter.

The attacker, who can play across the front line, takes the no.18 that was last worn by Takumi Minamino.

Gakpo will be hoping that he has more success than the Japanese forward, who struggled for regular game time at the club.
