Liverpool appear to have terminated their interest in Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram.

The Reds were one of the frontrunners to secure the signature of the young French star.

Thuram, brother of Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram, was one of the budget options the Reds were considering.

However, they appear to be looking elsewhere after capturing Dominik Szoboszlai.

Per David Lynch, the Reds will now look at Southampton's Romeo Lavia instead.

Having secured Alexis Mac Allister and Szoboszlai, manager Jurgen Klopp's midfield revamp is well underway.
