Liverpool fullback Kostas Tsimikas appreciates the management of Jurgen Klopp.
The defender is now playing regularly in the absence of injured left-back Andrew Robertson.
Tsimikas told the Liverpool match programme: "The manager always tries to encourage me.
"Whether I'm playing well or not so well, he tells me that I have to keep going. To play football is not the easiest thing in life - you have a lot of pressure and all these kind of things.
"I think after so many years, the manager knows me as a person. He knows I'm very hungry for every challenge I have in front of me and how hard I work. A player only wants the protection of the manager to be there for him and then the player has to give absolutely everything for the team and for the manager.
"He is always there for me and it keeps me fit and keeps me hungry for every game I play and I'm really, really happy about that."
