Andy Robertson believes Liverpool fans are starting to see just what Thiago Alcantara can bring to the club.

The Spain international, who signed from Bayern Munich last summer, has hit some brilliant form over the past month after initially struggling to adjust at Anfield.

"I always find it tough for players coming in, especially ones like Thiago, who is a huge name in the game," Robertson said, via the Liverpool Echo.

"He needed time to adapt and then he got a really bad injury against Everton and that put him out.

"He then had to catch up again and come up to speed. I think the last six to eight weeks we have really seen what Thiago can really bring to this club, and we were never in doubt.

"But he took time to adapt to the Premier League as we all do. Again tonight he was fantastic."
