Liverpool fullback Robertson: Burnley will be spoiling for a battle

Liverpool fullback Andrew Robertson says they must avoid being dragged into a physical battle against Burnley.

Sean Dyche's side may sit bottom of the Premier League currently but battled to earn a draw with Manchester United in midweek.

Robertson told Liverpoolfc.com: "Burnley's never an easy game – at home definitely, but away even more so.

"It's always difficult going to Turf Moor, especially when they're down the bottom end of the table.

"I know what it's like down there, I know when it gets to this point in the season, just picking up any points is so crucial in just trying to get yourself out of the situation.

"The Burnley players are a good group, very honest, very hard-working and they're a talented bunch. They won't be where they want to be in the table, of course, but they'll be looking to put it right. Sean Dyche is a really good Premier League manager, he's proven that over the years.

"It's going to be a really tough game. We need to be at our best, we need to do all the good things that we can do and we need to be up for the fight because they certainly will be.

"Hopefully our skill can look after itself and hopefully we can get a big three points."
