Liverpool fullback Andrew Robertson blames poor finishing for part of their problems this season.
Against Southampton on Saturday, Sadio Mane scored in the first half and Thiago added a second in the closing stages to steer the Reds to victory at Anfield.
"Creating chances haven't been a problem, it's just been that final bit putting it away," said the left-back.
"We've not taken enough chances. When you keep missing them, teams get confidence from that. We are creating. Today we were clinical."
Robertson also reserved special praise for Liverpool's man-of-the-match goalkeeper Alisson, adding: "Luckily Alisson made a few important saves but we kept the ball well and I thought we deserved the three points."
