Liverpool forward Mane cleans up Reds end of season awards

Liverpool winger Sadio Mane has swept up at the end-of-the-season awards in his first season with the Reds.

The 25-year-old won Liverpool's Player of the Season and Player's Player of the Year awards at the ceremony organised by the Merseyside club.

"I just want to thank my team-mates and supporters for giving me this honour," he said.

"It means so much to me. I feel at home at this club and in this city.

"My team-mates, the staff, the manager and the supporters have all made me feel so welcome since I joined the club.

"I have loved every minute of playing for Liverpool this season and can't wait to get back fit to help the team again."

The Senegal international, who joined the Reds from Southampton for £34m in the summer, has scored 13 league goals this season.
