Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk insists victory over Chelsea wasn't about revenge.

Van Dijk insists beating Chelsea five years after defeat wrecked the club's title hopes wasn't on the players' minds.

He said, "Five years ago it doesn't matter anymore.

"There was great disappointment but time has passed. Today we knew that it would have been a different story and we showed great things.

"They were dangerous too, but we took the three points."
