Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold says Arsenal deserve to be Premier League leaders.

The Reds host Arsenal later today.

Alexander-Arnold told the Liverpool Echo: "They have a young and exciting team, which lacked experience last year. It is somewhat similar to the season when we lost by one point to City.

"You learn a lot from those experiences. Arsenal have learned from the games where they dropped points at the end of last season.

"They deserve a place at the top. We do too, and I think it will be an exciting match."
