Bournemouth chief Richard Hughes could be set for an upgrade in his standing in the game.

Per The Mail, the Cherries fear they are about to lose Hughes in the coming weeks.

He is being looked at by several clubs in the Premier League, including Liverpool.

Hughes could be the man to become the next sporting director at the Anfield club.

He would replace short-term hire Jorg Schmadtke, who is leaving in the summer.

Liverpool are also losing manager Jurgen Klopp at the same time, with Xabi Alonso the favorite to replace him.
