Liverpool boss Rodgers confirms Lucas injury

Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva suffered a groin injury during their 0-0 draw at Everton.

The Brazilian pulled up in the opening exchanges of Liverpool's clash with Everton at Goodison Park and was replaced by Joe Allen.

"We'll just have to assess it," said manager Brendan Rodgers.

"He had a slight problem with his adductor - that's why he missed the last game [at Bolton].

"He felt it again there, so we'll see what the scan says on that."
