Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed how his staff have advised James Milner not to run too much.

The 33-year-old has defied the odds to be one of the fittest player in Klopp's squad.

And after another tireless performance in Saturday's win over Southampton, Milner has praise off his manager.

"That's James [Milner]," the manager said.

"Sometimes we speak about it and say don't run that much because it's better when you are in another position!

"But it's all good and very important to have players like this in your team."
