Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is convinced of an exciting 2023 ahead.

Klopp delivered his Christmas message yesterday.

The German said: "The championship was spectacular.

"I know it's not very appreciated coming close to the title, but as a coach I'm proud."

On the Champions League final in Paris, he also stated: "A special evening but for absolutely the wrong reasons. It won't be a final we will remember for the rest of our lives."

Liverpool face Aston Villa on Boxing Day when the Premier League resumes.

"We are now at shooting distance. That's all I need. I can't wait for 2023 to arrive," he added.
