Former footballer turned pundit Nedum Onuoha and his ESPN colleagues were left surprised at a comment by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
Onuoha was interviewing Klopp after their 2-2 draw against Wolves in the FA Cup at the weekend.
He asked why the Reds had been so below par, which led to Klopp making a frustrated remark about the pundit's past.
“I'm not sure if you've played football, but these kinds of things happen," he said during the interview.
ESPN did note that Onuoha played 426 times in his career, compared to Klopp's 347 games.
The ex-Manchester City man had played 232 of those games in the Premier League for various clubs.
