Liverpool boss Klopp: I've never felt lower in my career

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says he's never felt lower in his career after their thrashing at Brighton.

Two second-half goals from Solly March and another from substitute Danny Welbeck consigned Liverpool to a 3-0 Premier League defeat at the AMEX Stadium on Saturday evening.

It prompted Klopp to reveal the depth of his concern by regarding the reverse without comparison during his 22 years as a manager.

“It's my job to make the right line-up and set up the right tactics," said the Reds boss. “I had really nice moments doing that but, I'm not sure if it's because it's only a few minutes since the game, but I can't remember a worse game.

“I honestly can't and I mean all (my career) not only Liverpool and that's my responsibility. So that makes it a really low point."
