Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says that youngster Harvey Elliott could have gone anywhere he wanted.

The 16-year-old impressed in a friendly shortly after completing his move from fulham.

The Reds boss was happy with what he saw, lavishing praise on the teenager.

"That's why he's here," he said to reporters.

"He had the choice to go pretty much anywhere, but he wanted to be a part of Liverpool."
