Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says Alisson's return from injury is on track.
The Brazil international goalkeeper tore his calf on the opening day of the season as the Reds ran out 4-1 winners over newly-promoted Norwich.
Liverpool have replaced Alisson with free signing Adrian, but are understandably anxious to get their £67million man back in goal as soon as possible.
"Close? Not that close. I had lunch with him today, so at least he can eat. He looks good, in good shape, in a good mood," said Klopp.
"But there's no date in my mind. At beginning he was on crutches but they aren't there anymore. He walks normally, can train different."
He added: "No date - we want to give him the time he needs, but it looks good. He is not on crutches anymore, walks normally, trains differently to how he could a week ago."
