Liverpool boss Klopp admits Salah talks planned over penalty duties

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he may take penalty duties away from Mohamed Salah.

The 30-year-old sent a second half spot-kick wide in the Reds' 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Easter Sunday. He also missed in defeat to Bournemouth last month.

“That's something we will talk about but not here," the German told reporters when asked if he would take the responsibility away from the Egyptian.

Klopp was seen celebrating momentarily after Salah missed his spotkick against Arsenal.

“I only saw the penalty after the game," he admitted. “A few people in the crowd reacted, so when you don't see the penalty, you react on what the people see and a few people obviously thought the ball was in but it wasn't.

“He missed the goal. So that's why for a second the fist, and then I realised, 'Oh, Mo isn't celebrating.' And then I realised the ball wasn't it. That's it."
