Liverpool boss Klopp adamant Diaz back to his best

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is adamant Luis Diaz is back to his best.

Many have questioned the Colombia international's form.

But Klopp insists: "You might have forgotten but in the past we've had maybe the best front three this club has had in a long time. How we often we sat here with Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah and how often we were discussing their drop in form? We discussed it at the time but it never had a big impact so we just let them be.

"If Lucho [Diaz] is not playing great I don't have to tell him, he knows that before I know. It is about faith and trust and time. There was no doubt he would be back, definitely. In general so far we weren't struggling or at creating or scoring, it's how it is.

"It's a general trust and faith we have in the boys and that's why they have spells for two or three weeks after the most challenging time of his life that nobody is prepared for, and he is back. That's good. It's helpful. You can see in each training session it's different. I spoke to him and you cannot not smile when he was on the ball. I missed that a little bit and now that smile is back, so that's really good."
