Liverpool are being linked with Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz.

Calciomercato.com says the 23-year-old's displays have alerted him to four of Europe's biggest clubs and drawn comparisons with Spain legend Xavi.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to bolster his midfield, having so far failed to get the best out of Naby Keita, who joined the club from RB Leipzig last summer.

Klopp will have the perfect opportunity to take a closer look at Ruiz during the Champions League group stage after the Reds were drawn in the same group as Napoli.

Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also interested in the former Real Betis starlet.
