Liverpool have agreed a deal to sell Ben Davies to Rangers.

Sky Sports states the Gers will pay £3m up front for the centre-back, with an extra million made up of achievable add-ons.

Blackburn and Middlesbrough were both in the race to sign Davies.

Davies, signed from Preston North End in February 2021, played 21 Championship games on loan at Sheffield United last season.

The 26-year-old has yet to make a first-team appearance for Liverpool.
