The veteran steps up with an injury concern persisting for No1 Alisson.
Adrian has been added to the 23-man squad for the Europa League knockout round.
Liverpool have also dropped Joel Matip from their squad. The defender is out for the season with a knee injury.
Liverpool meet Sparta Prague in the round of 16.
