Liverpool a possible destination for Man City star Yaya Toure

Yaya Toure is being linked with a possible summer move to Liverpool.

The Ivorian midfielder is being tipped to leave Manchester City when Pep Guardiola arrives at the end of the season but is keen to remain in the Premier League rather than join Inter Milan or a Chinese Super League club.

Betting agency Ladbrokes has Liverpool as the most likely English destination for Toure who is being rolled at 2/1 to make a big-money move to China.

"Pep's arrival all but spells out the end for Yaya Toure at Man City, and if he sticks around in the Premier League, it's Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp who are leading the chase," said Richard Marsh of Ladbrokes News.

Additionally, a source close to the 32-year-old reportedly told the Daily Mirror that Anfield represents an easy move for the two-time Premier League champion's family.

"Yaya and the family are very happy in the UK, they enjoy living here and see no reason to change," said the source.

"Also, Yaya has extended family here including brothers [elder sibling Kolo plays for Liverpool] and sisters."
