Lingard determined to see out his contract with Man Utd

Jesse Lingard is determined to see out his contract with Manchester United.

The Athletic reports Lingard is ready to stay at United in January and fight for his place under interim boss Ralf Rangnick.

The 29-year-old has found himself as a spare part at Old Trafford so far in this campaign, making just eight Premier League appearances, all off the bench.

That led to calls for a move away in January but Lingard, who is out of contract at United at the end of the current season, is prepared to see out his deal and stay with United next month.

Lingard is able to sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs overseas as early as January 1 but with the report stating that the midfielder is ready to fight for his place, he is not expected to make a call on his future until closer to his contract's expiry.
