Lille midfielder Rio Mavuba is open to a move to AS Roma.

Mavuba says he'd welcome a reunion with Roma coach Rudi Garcia.

"I have the same agent as Garcia, but I haven't heard from him [Garcia] in a while," Mavuba told Sky Sport.

"I don't know where I'll be next season, and neither does he. Roma could certainly be an option for me.

"If Garcia were to stay, it would make for an interesting solution. We've already won [the Ligue 1 and the French Cup] together, so the contact with Roma would be simpler."
