Lille chief Luis Campos has played down talk of Jose Mourinho moving to Lyon.

Lyon are seeking a new coach after Bruno Genesio announced he would be leaving at the end of the season - and former Manchester United manager Mourinho has been linked.

However, close friend Campos can't see the move happening.

He said: "Mourinho to OL? I think he has already trained in a lot of championships, and he has won everywhere. Lyon is a great French football club with a very beautiful history. But I think for the next season, José wants a project bigger than the OL.

"And he will surely be a coach too expensive for Lyon."
