Leicester youngster Moore welcomes Championship loan links

Leicester City defender Liam Moore is open to a move to the Championship.

Moore endured a frustrating campaign last season due to lack of regular first team football and it was recently reported that the defender would be allowed to leave the club on loan this summer, especially with the Foxes moving for Robert Huth and Gareth McAuley this summer.

Moore was welcomed reports of a possible loan move away from the King Power Stadium and has stated that regular game time would be beneficial for him.

"The Championship is a really good standard and it is something that is in the back of my mind," he told the Leicester Mercury.

"When I was in the team at the start of last season it was great, but when you are out of the team coming back in can be difficult, especially as a young player.

"You can only learn so much on the training pitch. I am eager to learn so if that means more game-time in the Championship, then so be it."
