Leicester City great Christian Fuchs has announced his retirement.

The left-back left Leicester for Major League Soccer and Charlotte FC in the summer of 2021.

He said today: "It has been an incredible journey for me and my family. We have not only celebrated great successes over the years, but we have also been able to learn from fantastic people during this journey.

"I am so grateful for all the support I have received during my career from club representatives, my teammates and the fans.

"I look back on those special moments with a big smile."
