Leicester City are showing serious interest in signing Moroccan midfielder Azzedine Ounahi from Angers.

The 22-year-old was outstanding for Morocco at the World Cup, as the North African nation reached the semi finals.

Ounahi put in outstanding displays against Spain and Portugal in the round of 16 and quarter finals in particular.

Per L'Equipe in France, Leicester have made an enquiry about bringing the midfielder to the Premier League.

Ounahi is willing to move on in January, as he knows his stock is high after the World Cup.

However, Angers officials want to hang onto him until the summer, even if it means concluding a transfer and then loaning him back for six months.
