Leicester City are interested in signing Charlie Taylor from Burnley.

The left-back is one of many that Leicester are monitoring, because they are aware of big clubs having an interest in Ben Chilwell.

The latter is likely to be the subject of bids from the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham in the summer.

If he chooses to leave, Leicester would look at Taylor as an alternative, per The Times.

While Leicester and manager Brendan Rodgers do not want to lose Chilwell, they would rather be prepared.

The club understands that even if they make the Champions League, a big money offer for a left back may be too much to turn down.
